thought about a OEM one from a 99 or newer fullsize chevy? they have something like that in line from the battery to the alternator. i have a few things tied into mine without problems.

I've seen similar ones to your first post on Ford Super Duty's. It's not totally the same, but they are also fuseable. Another that comes to mind is on the newer GM trucks, gas anyways have a nice junction block behind the power steering pump. Even has a snap fit cover.
*EDIT* Kodiak beat me to the second one.

A couple ideas anyway.

all 96-99 obs full size chevy's have them mounted on the radiator shroud.
