Default Semi float 60 rear *SOLD*

Rear semi float 60 housing, has truss, Set 10 bearing ends, all cleaned off of old brackets, 60" end to end (roughly 65" wms with shafts), shaved. From a 71.5-73 IHC pickup


NO; gears, diff, shafts, brakes $250 with one 5x5.5" bp 35 spline moser shaft

Is that one of those 2.75" x .25" wall tube 60's that had the 5.89 gears and 35 spline open carrier in it?

Or is it a FF 60 cut down with ford ends welded on?

I think it is a early ford 60 from a truck. IIRC in the 60's early 70's they were a stock rear pickup axle. The tubes are not as thick as a FF but pretty sure they are bigger then 2.75" I will check though

Would be a nice match to a hp44 front, espically if you want a ARB much more reliable then a 9" ARB

don't waste your time with the 8.8 get a real axle
