Default Post up your fishing gear.

I'm EXTREMELY bored and have a fishing itch that I can't scratch for another 2 or 3 months. So ontop of watching a bunch of fishing shows, I felt like seeing what the rest of you are using.

Whats your gear consist of?

My spinner rod is a Shimano Symetre spooled with 30# braid and a 10# mono leader on a 6'6" Uglystick. Mainly used it fishing tubes near docks this summer.

Baitcaster is an Abu Garcia Revo SX spooled with 50# braid and 14# leader on a broken 7' Berkley rod. I think my nephew got a hold of it and was playing with it like a sword or something. But it was my main rod last season. I plan to get another bait caster with straight mono or flouro for cranks and jerk baits when spring rolls around. Then this will be my spinner/frog rod.

And my tackel box. Its a Plano 777 packed with all kinds of stuff.

Very top has all my lipless cranks, a couple lipped ones that didnt have a place in the drawers, and a two of the topwaters I had the most luck on this fall. And all the spinner baits to the right.

Top drawer has all my crank baits and jerk baits, plus a super spook.

The bottom drawer keeps all the soft baits.

And then the smaller boxes in the bottom right compartment keep my jigs and a couple spoons that I never use.

Not the greatest, but the few its caught were pigs. You gotta fish it like you would a Spook, getting it to bob and zig zag.

This guy shows it best.

I never cared much for ice fishing. I wouldn't mind spearing, but I still don't have anyone to go out on the ice with. Rather not cut a 8 foot square hole in the water and be out by myself

If I took a pic of all the shit my dad and I have. Few(wiping sweat from brow) i don't think there is a pic big enough.

Got alot of old fast water stuff from when my great grandma passed( she held the record for biggest catfish, stripper and white bass in the white rive Batesville, AR in the 80s(or so I have been told never seen any proof)) but its all 70s and 80s stuff. I normally take my 6' med spinning rod, 7' heavy spinning rod, 5' ultra light and my big ol' tackle box if we go on the boat.

Speaking of that I would like to introduce everyone to the newest member of the family. our 2008 lowe flat bottom. 16'x4'x2'.

Has a live well in the center bench, plenty of room for seats and all kinds a goodies. We can finally use the new trowling motor we got from the Sal a few years back.

I added this to my collection today.

Gander had a the exact reel I was going to get for half off today, so I had to go and get it. Its an Abu Garcia 5601C4. Stuck it on an Ugly Stick my friend had, he never uses it and it was the perfect rod for what I plan to use this reel for, which is mostly crankbaits. So now I have about 5 rod/reels total. Just more time spent casting, not having to retie as often
