So where do you disagree with scientists in the following charts. Just give me an example so I can learn. Click the links above the image for the full versions.

Let me be clear in that there are two forms of Evolution. Not just one. There is Macro, IE, the world started this way, and then Micro, IE birds adapted their beaks for different sized seeds. I don't believe that a Fish Can become a Dog.

Old age I'm guessing. I mean, What else would it be? The Science behind that is that the "great Waters' from the Sky was actually a Kind of Bubble of water above the earth. When God Decided to pop it it rained for the first time. Before that the Plants were watered from the Springs of the earth. This bubble also acted as a Better guard then the Ozone layer from sun rays and stuff of that Nature. This allowed people to live Longer. If you look at the Ages in the bible the Number of Years lived is Significantly Reduced right after Noah's Family.

Aquifers? It doesn't all have to be in the ocean. Also, What Significant amount of water is in the Air and Clouds? If you're going by the Story from the bible, There wasn't storms or clouds back before the flood.

Maybe the Earth just got real fizzy for 40 day and nights? I know that my soda pop makes a lot more volume than I expect if I opens it too fast...

Did you just say the science behind it is a big bubble of suspended water (weighing billions of tons that would never suspend, let alone not block out the sunlight for the earth) was popped by an imaginary being?

I'm going to have to do some research into this. be back later.

How come in my version of Genesis 6 all these measurements are in metric?

Knew that was coming. Do I know what it looked like? Nope, But I do know that it clearly states it in the bible as that and that is where the idea comes from.

Genesis 1:6 -

Quote:
And God said, "Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water." 7 So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it. And it was so. 8 God called the expanse "sky." And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.
That seems pretty self Explanitory.

It's not that I care that much about what you think, I just don't get the additude that is portrayed. As if Chrsitians, or other faith based people, are lower then You. Because we believe in something better then our selves. I don't think of my self any better then you, or anybody else on here. It's the simple fact that I can except anything you can. If I can see it, I except it. The only difference is I can Believe in things beyond what you can Except. It doesn't take alot of work to except something you can see. I can touch a tree, I know it's there. It takes more to believe in something that is not.
And do you really think I am that much of a Greenie to be hurt by something you say...I've been here long enough to know better.

Cubits were the original Measurement. Alot of Translations will convert it to Standard measurements just to make it more understandable. Feet mean alot more to me then Cubits.

If it didnt bother you, would you really waste 15 minutes of your life pecking out a mini novel to answer a offhand comment?

Back in middle school I learned of noah and others living exceedingly long as compared to todays limits. I asked my priest about this and he said "Well, those ages are most likely not real chronological ages, but rater symbolic of their relationship with christ"

So basically according to him, these large ages are essentially a point system, or "God points" as I have referred to them ever sense that day.

Just a thought. Think outside the box. Look at the positive side of things as possible and not only a way to see it as impossible. You would be surprised as to what could look like the impossible to be possible.

As a bear is a bear. it will adapt to its environment whether it is cold(polar bear) or black bear. Were it lives will determine what it can with stand. Black bears and so sleep for the winter because their food source is limited in the winter as for the polar bear well I don't think they hibrinate.
