It's all just surface rust, no holes or anything like that. It's a very solid exhaust, I just needed my truck to be quite again.

How loud is it? how was the interior resonance? I have dual flowmasters now on my 02 2500hd and it's pretty loud especially on the inside. I am also looking for something a little more quiet.

It's alot louder than stock but it's not super loud. My '94 GM truck with headers and single Flowmaster was louder inside. It did sound really good, now I can't even tell my truck is running, except for thre piston slap.

Really? I had mine like that for a while and man that was the most annoying sounding exhaust I have ever heard it was droney and irritating to me. this is coming from a guy who loves straight pipes as well.

ps sorry for the thread jack...

It's amazing how much better an exhaust system can sound when it has a proper tailpipe.
