Your rear leafs look surprizingly good. When I put mine on my TJ they were inverted, threw on a add a leaf and now they sit completely flat. I might have missed it but how much higher do you want to go in the rear?

I am probably going to add some 2" full length add a leafs, then when I put my cage, and all of my gear back in there, it will probably end up about 1" higher than right now. I am going to be adding another main leaf w/military wrap.

For the front, I am going to keep the waggy main leaf, and build some bastard packs for the rest of it. I am not sure what all leafs I am going to use yet, but i am gonna use a combo of YJ and Waggy, to get the ride height to match how the rear ends up.

Got the whole jeep primed today, after about 3 hours of cleaning the barn. Here are some pics of the jeep in primer. I think it looks alot better in one color. I will put the hood back on soon, and start working on the tube fenders and roll cage. Also one of my friends decided to put NOS on my jeep when I wasn't looking. HAHA.

I got a chance to get a little more work done this morning. I got the lower radiator hose cut down, and installed. The factory one was too long, since I moved the radiator back by mounting it on the back side of the CJ grill. I also got my SYE done. Got the shaft cut down, drilled, tapped, and the yoke bolted on. Just need to lock-tite the bolt that holds the yoke on. Now I can cut down the front shaft that I am going to be using for the rear. I will get some pics of the SYE when I get back out to the barn with the camera.
I also got a line on 2 XJ packs, and 4 YJ packs. Now I can start working on my bastard packs as soon as I get them all here, and pulled apart.

Didn't get the shaft cut quite as short as I would have liked, but I put it on for a test fit, and it isn't coming back off.

Got some more stuff done on the jeep tonight. We are still workin on it more tonight. Got some stuff done in the shop that needed to be done. I also got the YJ spring packs taken apart, and ready to build some new custom packs. We got most of the list we had for today done. Then we started working on the roll cage. We got most of the tube cut, now just need to start putting it all together. Planning on having the cage mostly done tonight. I will post pics when we are finished tonight.

Got the roll cage done, and the seat mounts installed. Just need to pull it out, and finish weld the whole thing and drill some holes for the seats. Pics are a little smokey. 12 hours of work in the barn today. But we got alot accomplished. I also took some teaser pics when we got done tonight.

I like the stance as is. A couple inches taller would be ok, but it looks pretty good already.

Yeah, I like it too. I am going to rebuild the spring packs still, hoping to get some more flex, and maybe an inch or so higher. Gonna soften the front springs, and stiffen the rear.

Gonna be workin in the barn some more tomorrow. Going to hopefully get the last of the cage tie in's made, add some grab handles on the cage, get the front leaf springs rebuilt, new front axle under the jeep, and the front tube fender mounting brackets finished.

Today I got the front axle out. Cut some brackets off of the new axle. I got my front bastard packs built, just need to clean up each leaf, and paint them. I also got the other bar added into the cage, and got the grab handles tacked in. I finished up the tube fender mounts, and got them to work with my original inner fenders. We also pulled the cage out at the end of the night, so that it is ready to be finish welded.

The cage went out to a buddies house to be finish welded. Trying to get some more little projects done tonight. Finish stripping the front new front axle, clean up the spring packs, and gring/paint them. Then work on tearing all of the stuff i want to keep off of the old front axle, and getting the new one ready to swap in the new gears. I am also going to work on sorting out some new ideas for the tube fenders.

I got the cage back today. Thinking about possibly adding a few more tubes for a little more triangulation. Also got the final coat of paint on the springs, so I can reassembly the packs. Working on the cage tie ins on tuesday, and probably painting the cage.

I am still planning on adding a dash bar, and thinking about adding some diagonal supports about the driver and passenger, and between the b pillar and the back cross bar.
I am going to be mounting the fuel tank in the "bed" in the very back. I am planning on enclosing the front and top, and leaving the back open for the air to circulate. I will build a cage around the tank for it to mount in, BUT I am not exactly sure what to do with the rear body mounts. I removed them when I rebuilt the rear section of the frame, and didn't replace them. I am considering making the cage for the gas tank to tie in to the roll cage mounts that come up from the frame. I have a support bar running across the frame where the old body mounts were located, but it does not hook into the body.Does anyone have any input, OR pics of similar setups?

got the front springs put back together today. Got the seat mounts done. Got the cage in, seat installed, and tie in plates bolted on. Now I just need to work on the tie in tubes. I also got the axles stripped down, and ready to swap the front gears.

Got some tube bent today for the front and rear tube fenders. Also got my notcher working, so that made the fenders alot easier. I was getting tired of notching everything with a 4 1/2" angle grinder. Also got the front axle housing mounted. Still need to pull the steering knuckles off so that i can swap to my wrangler knuckles and install new ball joints. I also got the plates finished and bolted to the bottom of the tub, so I am ready to make to cage to frame tubes. I also still need to weld the plates to the cage. I also got the poor excuse for a stinger that i had on there taken off.

Got a little bit more work done this morning. I got the rear tube fenders finished and mounted, and the front tube fenders tacked together. Everything still needs to be finish welded.
