the solution is easy, sell said pos avalanch, buy a real truck. And no, cadilac does not make a real truck, escilade sut is just a dressed up avalanch

My Escalde was an awesome truck. The Escalade EXT is the perfect cobo for someone that does not need a truck, but wants the bed on occasion.

what would be a REAL ? truck the Avalanche is built on the same or very similar frame as the 1500 trucks.. and the same goes for the 2500 models ??

incorrect on the avalanche you'll find the weights go at the diff..... dealer and the 3 people who had stock steel shaft says so.

I redid his shaft to this set-up and no vibration....he had it backwards.

didn't know he had a steel driveshaft. i've seen aluminum driveshafts with weights at either end. most of them newer trucks had aluminum.

prolly y the avalanche has a bad rap for diff pinion bearings going out...

my 02 1500 gmc has an aluminum one..same t-case and rear end just different shaft.
