yeah, they are a lot cheaper nowadays, but i use the cheaper ones at work, and just my opinion, the rotary hoists were WAY better and felt safer! but the cheaper ones work as well, as a matter of fact, i believe they use the same electric motor and hydraulic pump!

be careful with the no-names. I saw a video the other day where they tested the ratings.... and some 1200# jap lift literally collapsed at like 9-10k

Might try Brett and Gary at State Installations in Comstock Park. They sell and service new and used hoists all the time. They do a lot, and I mean a lot of dealership work and end up with used hoists all the time. 616 784 7117. leave them a message and they will get back with you within a day. I have done a lot of wrok with them over the last two years. They will sell you good stuff. tell them todd gave you their number. might help or maybe not...........................................

Brett is a 4x4 guy too. He might cut another 4wheeler a deal.

Good luck and remember safety is number 1.
