Default '88 Suzuki Samurai on 32's - SOLD

NEW PRICE! $3700 obo

From Tennessee = NO RUST!!!!
This is a great little truck that was my daily driver for a couple of years. Has been just a toy lately though and since my wife won't drive it and I had both knees replaced this summer it just sits there. It tracks straight and true on the road without any shimmies and the transfer case shifts just fine on the fly.
The good:
Custom front and rear bumpers with trailer hitch and D-rings
Fuel Injected Chevy 2.8l v6
Electric radiator fan with manual switch for water crossings
SM465 4 speed manual transmission with granny low
Detroit locker in the rear
Posi in the front (according to PO)
32'" BFG AT's on it now.
CD radio with AUX input for Ipod with remote and speakers
Tach & Temp in dash and all gauges/lights work
Heater core cleaned out
Tracker front seats moved back (I'm 6'4")
Rear bench
Interior is bed lined
Aftermarket steering wheel
2 new tops (ebay oops)
Removable doors
Newer paint

The bad:
Windshield frame not the same color (have the original with cracked glass and weak wipers)
Speedometer cable broke last year (didn't fix because I don't hardly drive on road anymore)
Outside passenger door handle broken (have the replacement)
Transmission tunnel altered for SM465 by PO (I didn't fix because I was always going to put a T5 in)

I've driven it up to Silver Lake and Higgins Lake several times to play and it is a BLAST! Selling because the knees say it is time for an automatic so I need the cash for a new project. No trades. Call with questions to (517) 749-9324 or email me at bbm715@yahoo.com

I keep switching back & forth - this is my 3rd Zuki and I've had 2 early Blazers. Really want an old Bronco now. Love them both. Zuki's are a blast because you can go on quad trails and they are so light you almost cannot get stuck. The locker in the rear of this one was a trip on ice when I first got it. I've had several trucks with rear lockers but this extremely short wheel base took a few days to get used to :-0 Don't even notice it now.

These were the only 2 I could find:

Obviously the factory tach isn't hooked up to the 2.8l v6 - gauges in the dash are tach on the left and temp on the right. FI ECU is in the cab on the old package shelf in the passengers footwell.

Hadn't cleaned out the Silver Lake sand yet :)

Sorry, think I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and get a newer truck. Had my knees replaced this summer and I just can't work on the older ones - even though I'd like to.

It is a blast at Silver Lake. I like playing more in the trees than out on the flat but nothing there can stop me. Except for that deep water hole on the back side - then it's me chickening out, not the truck :) lol

Going to have to pass on the Suzuki quad. While that looks like a lot of fun my broken down knees wouldn't take it. Now if he has a big Polaris automatic 4x4 quad... That's more my speed. Always been more of a trail crawler than a dune blaster.

Or would really like a late model F250/350 4X4 with a 7.3 extended cab long bed or crew with a short bed - can use this a down payment.
