Default FS/FT Grand Cherokee 4.5" Lift # 4:11 # posi ***Keeping it. Sold

Looking to sell or trade my í94 Grand Cherokee Limited 5.2L automatic. My daughter is currently using it as a daily driver. I need to find her something else before she goes to college this summer. Jeep runs great. Drives rough, suspension is worn out. If I were to keep this I would replace bushings in suspension. And address some of the rust starting to appear.

Modifications:
1997 - 4.5Ē Rubicon Express lift. (80,000 miles ago)
1997 Ė Tomken front bumper wired for portable winch
1997 Ė 34x9.5x15 tslís
2000 - Transmission rebuilt and beefed up (Added regrooved clutch packs and added extra plates, opened up oil journals to improve cooling.)
2000 Ė 4:11ís, posi in rear, limited slip in front
2000 Ė 33x9.5 BFG All terrains
2008 Ė 285/75R16ís

Jeep is AWD which I never had a problem with. This jeep wheels really well for what it is. When it was my daily driver it was used as the family trail rider also (3 kids, dog and a cooler). Everything works (locks, windows, etc., air conditioning could use a charge.) Jeep does have a transmission leak, I donít know if it is the pan or the front seal, I just deal with it and donít let her park on the concrete drive.

Whoever buys this should plan on rebuilding the suspension (I have a majority of the parts, just not the ambition). I did replace the rear track bar last summer. Tail pipe came off last week, I have the tail pipe but am just bored with it. Iíve had it too long and donít feel like putting in the time to bring it back to where it should be.

Would trade it for a rust free YJ or a TJ that needs work. Must be dependable for a college student 3hrs away from Dad. Willing to put money with this jeep towards next one.

Will sell for $2500

You can go to Youtube search "Silver Lake Drivers Ed" to see video of it.

Bump for a nice Jeep. These V8 ZJs (even with AWD) will walk up test hill at half throttle, and laugh at everything else at SL. Good luck with the sale.

I've been asked about mileage and rust, I will try to post pictures tomorrow. I’ve also received PM’s; I will go thru them and reply tomorrow. I apologize for the delay; I’m working out of town currently (happy to be working!!).

Just sold my ZJ because it was stuck in 4WD all the time with that transfer case. Does this have that problem? I'd be really interested if not. would love some more pics and mileage and what bushings and everything you recommend being replaced. Cash in hand

the post says awd, so it is a 249 transfer case which only has 4x4 high and low. you can swap in a 231 case which has 2wd and 4hi/lo for really cheap, and it's not really hard.

I've always been impressed with these. This is a piont and shoot jeep. Flex is awesome. Turning radius is a plus with the CV axle joints. Great trail rider. To much sheet medal to be a basher. Thats what the TJ is for.

I thought the selection was like an partime 4WD (like and all wheel drive) or 4Low?? That's how it was in my 98. And when the clutches got wore out it was like in 4HI all the time and drove like an 84 chevy that was locked in 4HI all year round and got 14MPG. Lol I was going to do the 231 swap on my last one but just never got around to it. Im very interested in this ride. PM me and we can talk. It's a little far away so Im not sure when I could get that way but like I said. Have cash in hand.
