I'm also sick of that guy showing off! he's always at the top of a hill or obstacle that i can make. or helping someone out to get back to the parking lot or to safety.

he's a dick!

You're welcome, I'm always willing to help anyone out regardless of the bashing they do. I think I stopped and asked at least 6 or 7 wheelers if they needed help yesterday, even a couple who'd rather not talk to me unless they are on the interweb.

As for your situation, it wasn't getting any better, so I thought I'd offer a hand. I'm just glad we were able to get you back to the front without losing the wheel all together. Even if we did, I saw a trick that a friend of mine used recently to get his rig back to the trailer and loaded up that worked nicely. We'd have made it back one way or another.

Glad he's now comfortable with his rig, but does 1 season make you a pro???

I still dont know shit and am happy for any advise and spotting!

I know you're messing with me. Hell without you guys ripping on me and giving me crap at TT I would have never gotten as far as I did that weekend.

On another note, I never said I was a "Pro" nor do I act like one, and I'm certainly not afraid of the "Skinny Pedal" now. I am getting very comfortable in the rig, and I can't thank the guys who built it enough, it's rock solid, and has handled pretty much everything I've thrown at it. As for "master of all wheeling", not a chance.

I still need spotting, and will always be open to advice, no one knows everything, and the only way to learn more is to be open to advice and criticism.

But thanks for the harassment, it brightened my day. Where have you guys been hiding out anyways? We need to all go wheeling again soon.

I know you're not ripping on me, but by "Down South", where are you talking? Badlands?

I have a few trips planned for 2010, and hope I can make all of them. Some East Coast and some West Coast.

I just meant that for what I have done with it so far, the rig is holding up. I'd be down for hitting anything at this point regardless of difficulty. I'm willing to push it as far as I can to really see what the limits are of the rig. But it takes some seat time first to get used to the rig. It's only been about 7 months out of the shop and only actually wheeled maybe 50 to 60 days of that time.

I'll get there, and I can't wait.

Big Ugly....did you end up winching all the way to the top of the hill you were at the bottom of? We were thinking you were gonna winch a few feet off the tree, straighten out on the hill and drop into the valley and get pulled up one of the easier less angled hill climbs out.

I didn't stick around after you got winched a few feet up off that tree. Once you were "on the move" we moved on. We were waiting around in case there was more help needed but once you started up the hill we figured it was handled.

And I feel for ya, I have been there with the tire falling off and busted ball joints axleshaft etc....(Pig Gig 07')
