Default Lube required for carrier bearings?

I just removed the carrier from my Dana 44 to clean up the housing and install my custom Lincoln Locker and I'm wondering if I need to pack the carrier bearings with grease before I reinstall everyting or if they are lubricated via the case gear lube (which I suspect). I figured I'd ask before I get everything back together and find out otherwise.

Thanks.

Myself I use regular wheel bearing grease. that way it has enough till it gets the gear lube thrown around and mixed in. I found it helps on pre-loading the pinion bearings. nothing like a dry bearing to ruin your day
