Do not bother with the shackles. They will not come close to making up for the 2'" body lift that you remove. At best you will gain 1" with the schackles.

How about "lifts" from Victoria's Secret?
I have some of those.....

If I ever get some spare $ I want to give the TJ a 2" lift and some tires to go with it. Of course, I'd have trouble getting into it being just over 5'.

i do like at least 1" bL as it makes getting to the top trans bolts much easier....i think 3" is too much, like you say...makes the body "look like it's floating"....
i want to get some 5/8" shackles for the front to even it out a bit (and yeah, like dmc says, i think that a 2" lift shackle will be too much (shackles will look like stilts)...just my .02 of course

I like they way this jeep looks. So I have made up my mind. I will trim the body lift down to 1" and with my already 3" springs will give me a total of 4". I may go with a little less agresive tire, not sure yet. I have 33x13.5 TSL's now and thinking I might wat 33x12.5. not sure what brand yet. Thanks for all the pictures and info. Keep em comming if you like.

Please buy some weed killer and spray those cracks in the spring. I really hate weeds in expansion joints.
