hope for 80, those old boats are wave crushers, but not rockets.

Default Boat

1977 Boston Whaler - 17' Montauk. 90 Horse Johnson ( Yes I have a Black Johnson). I purchased it from the Maryland DNR. It was a patrol boat. I brought it home last September and spent all winter in a rehab.

The only photo I have on the web is this one from 6:30 am on the way out to Lake Miochigan to fish

On flat water, wide open she will do 43 mph on the GPS.

well right now the 540's dyno'ed at 650hp. When we finish the builds they should be pushing 1100+ hp should be good for 85+ mph at least.

yeah these things are gonna cost alot. I get parts for cost and all the machine work is done by me but so far the rotating assemblies cost 7k x2 blowers and chillers were 15k x2

we have to upgrade drives too which we just picked up for 20k and one was stored outside with out the drain plug so its rusty and needs a rebuild
i think its gonna push 75 grand when done but it will be sweet.

future paln is to buy a newer hull and put these motors in but for now i like the cigarette

I have a 2003 Mastercraft X9. I usually take out on Orchard Lake but I go very early in the morning so I can get some calm water to ride in and leave before it gets crowded. Unfortunately I think it is time for me to get rid of it so if you know anyone that is interested let me know.
