Plasma Cutter

Looking to buy a plasma cutter, most to cut out plates 1/8" to 3/16" thick. A lot of them.. Sculpture stuff. Tired of torching shit... Can I get one of these taht claim they have a built in air compressor? What should I be looking at, how much???? Need the help.. Thanks much.....

hobart air force is a poor decision I would look at miler,hypertherm, or a new company out of michigan called avortec they make some cool welder/50a plasma cutters for great prices

I do not recommend the type with built in compressor. If you really want one there is a guy I work with that would probably sell you his.

I have a 55 gallon Kobalt air compressor if that would help with deciding on a unit....

I highly recommend Hypertherm Plasma Cutters. I have one at work and love it.

Small and very portable, 110 or 220v.

I have the Powermax 30, but would love a Powermax 1000.

Not cheap but awesome machines.
