Default Houseboat Mansion?

Is this for real? I was searching for wallpapers and came across this. I have never seen a house boat this hardcore before.

the house i am sure is real, its just a barge.. so why not besides little lakes with no waves not a problem. the motor home has huge problems.. its so unstable they have inflatable "hulls" on each side to TRY and balance it.. key word try they are top heavy and guess in strong cross winds and or waves beam to down right scarey. for the same money rather just get a pusher motor home and a nice boat to tow behind it and pocket the change for gas money

the top pictured one is what the call "northwest style". there is shit tons of them on the west coast of Washington state in the Columbia river. year round living up there (seen it on this old house). the other long one is a Mississippi style or Kentucky lake style, very long and narrow. there is even a few like it up on lake Erie.

as for the motor home...good luck with that. as I always say..."A boat is a hole in the water to throw money into!"

I searched for a while and I guess most of the people who make these went belly up. I found links to sites that don't exist anymore. the one discribes the house boat as a steel frame house on a barge chassis

The motorhome/boat one probably has most of its weight in the bottom, but it's still only sitting in ~3 feet of water. I would be nervous the whole time. Of course, if I had enough spare change to drop into a motorhome/boat I might
just not care.

This WhyYacht thing is pretty crazy. It's pretty much like having your own portable island with a beach and all.

Yeah, they're incredible. It looks like something only Saudi oil sheiks will be able to buy. When you take over the world, remember who told you about the awesome ship and hook me up. Just pick a country that has lots of forests and nice weather and that will be fine.

I think that is the basis behind all houseboats.
