Default MJ/XJ parts

Located in Imlay City, MI. All parts are from an '88 MJ and "buyer" pick-up only.

-D35 (3.07 gears, I think) GONE
-2WD axle beam (no rotors/hubs)
-Hood (no latch hardware, minor rust on underside)
-Driver side door (minor rust on lower edge)
-Carpeted cover for rear wall of MJ (gray)

Shoot me a PM if you're interested.

Brent

Ok, so this might be really weird but as it sounds, you decided to do a 4wd convo on your '88 MJ as well and your name is Brent. I guess we have alot in common, TTYL, Brent

Hey, wierd coincidence. You want another one? I also went to MTU.

How far along is your project? I'm pretty far away at the moment.

How can we be certain this isn't just a couple of one guy's multiple personalities that accidentally found each other online? :tonka:
I converted a 2wd 88 too. Personally, I feel 2wd MJs are the best buy in the Jeeping world.
Jeep on!

Will that hood fit a '99 XJ ? If so, I'll come and pick it up.

Well, I'll be finishing patching the floor this weekend and I'll put in my 4wd linkage then as well. I still have yet to finish getting my rearend in because I am still figuring out what kind of driveshaft I would like to run and If I want to put in the SYE now or not. Anyone know how long and SYE usually takes when the t-case still in the Jeep. I wish I would have done it when I still had the unit out of the Jeep... I think I'm gonna run a CV joint in my driveshaft...

Other than that, I am on to body work and we are on the road. I doubt I get it painted this year, but It wil be running stong. Ill make er look nice next year when I get the time. Right now I have very little time except for the weekends. I work with MDOT as a Co-op and it sucks up all my time. Paint will just have to wait... I gotta be back up to Houghton in early Sept.

If it's a JB style SYE, plan on a full day probably. Here's a write-up I found.

If it's a Hack and Tap, maybe 3 or 4 hours?
