Default Bridge card

In costco

White 30 something wearing a versace coat, versace purse, new pants, and tall hooker boots with a daughter wearing a northface jacket, northface scarf, and a coach purse texting on her blackberry.

They buy champagne, an ipod, and some other small stuff on a credit card, then they buy two hams, and steak on a bridge card.

Is it ok to call these people out in public?

I didn't, but I reallllllllllllllllllllllllllly wanted too

They had to call the manager over to approve the bridge card purchase, and she wasn't embarrassed at all, which means she probably has been doing this for years.

I thought I was only one that seen this shit here in Lansing. I have seen people at QD buy bread , milk and cereal on a bridge card and then use a big wad of cash to buy $100 worth of liquor. I have seen it with whites and black people.

That crap pisses me off too. I'm a social worker for a school district and before break I was trying to help out one of our moms who works 7 hours per week because she can't afford childcare, her husband made 17K last year (say the tax return), she has 4 kids, and was having trouble navigating the system. Her bridge card had been suspended and her medicaid spend down was jacked up to $937 per month. I think it was a paperwork error, but whatever the case, she needs the assistance and yet there are DB's out there doing this other shit...

Before working in the schools, I worked in Foster Care. I had a foster care mother tell me that she "Had" to switch from Lutheran Social Services to Catholic Social Services because that was all she and her husband did was care for the kids and they couldn't afford to keep putting money into the system... I watched her leave the parking lot after the meeting driving a late model Range Rover....

Got pictures? I say when you see it, don't bother calling it out. Take pictures and post it on the internet. The shame and embarrassment will last longer.

I see it like this, If you need to use the system I am all for it, as with most people I am way less then 4 months away from being flat broke if I lost my job. The misuse of the system is sad, both with this and "the caid". It seems like 60 or so percent of the people who come into the ER where I work at are using it. I have no clue how the hell hey can all get that. I can say this with all the crap with my daughter Carlee, she was able to qualify for Children Special Health insurance which is a secondary insurance from Medicaid. Without this I would have been booted from Blue Cross due to her hitting her lifetime limit of 2 Million. BCBS is still my primary for her but Medicaid picks up about 40 percent of the other to ease the BCBS payout.

I wants a ham.

These people must not file income taxes or what? I'm not sure what the requirements to be eligible for a bridge card, but it seems pretty easy to cheat the system.
