For a '94? Shouldn't that be grounding pins? Hence 96+ was OBD 2...

come on guys.

i either have a bad miss or slip that is not consistant. Also on take off with a heavy foot it usually boggs real bad (sometimes it doesnt and will spin the tires 10-15'). The other day the trans would not engage into gear (I had to rev the engine up and down to get it to engage). After it did engage it would not shift beyond 1st gear. When I drove home from work that night it was fine. Yesterday it wouldnt shift into overdrive so the first light I shut the car off and restarted it and all was fine.

Would any of these codes be causing the trans to lock up? Also what causes the bogging/miss. 3.5 H/O motor.

code 12 might be a bad o2 sensor or broken wire. the bog could be to much fuel due to the o2 sensor. you might try running a higher octane gas and some octane boost to boot to see if you can clean out the o2 sensor. code 12 is in the last 50 times the car has been started the battery has been disconneted and 55 is no more codes. the catalytic converter might be bad also throwin the 12 code.

The battery has not been disconected. What else could cause that code.

Come over and take a ride.
