Not that I would sell My BFG's without being up front about it, I bought my 33/12/15's back in 1996 and currently they're on my 06 Unlimited. There's hardly any highway miles on them. They have always been on any trail jeep Ive owned so there's still plenty of tread. There's no cracking on the tread side. During the summer when i swapped them to some MT-classics wheels, The Tire Man that balanced them told me I had 2 tires with bad belts and he didn't charge me for those 2 not balancing properly. Since be driven on the hi-way more often now they've worn down to about 1/2" of tread life. The side walls are starting to crack but not really noticeable.
My point with this is if your going to buy used tires, Look them over real good, not that you ll "see" a bad belt, unless its obvious. Tires have a date on the tire as to when it was made. My tires dont look 14 years old.

I have bought several used sets of BFG's without an issue. I am not sure that I would buy any other tire used. I just bought a new set of BFG RAT's for my DD drove it to Sno-Blind and wheeled all day Sat, pretty much without spinning a tire.

of course they do, but do you think they change the tread compound with the load ratings? probably not. my dad bought a new set of bfg a/ts to put on his 3/4 chevy gasser, still have like 8/32nds on them 8 years later.

um, yeah... I'm guessing they do change the compound between the ratings.

Kelly's and Coopers have both been the ticket for my past 3 (or am I up to 4 now?) powerstrokes.

Done with BFGs as a wheeling tire too.

Well 5 sets of BFG's have never failed me yet with oustanding customer service !! You can have your smelly Kelly's and your pooper scooper Coopers , I will stick with my 20 year consecutive winning Baja champion tires (BFG's).........

BFG doesn't "make" the baja 1000.

I fail to see how the tires on a trophy truck compare to a daily driver.

What I ment to say was who wins the Baja 1000 again ? Im not that dumb that I think the make a tire called that , And if you look it up 2009 - 8 out of the top 10 finishers were on BFG's and won for the 23rd time!! And the thing is , we are disputing the manufacturer, Which is BFG's . It doesnt matter if they are A/T's, M/T's, Krawlers, whatever, they are an awsome tire and mark my words the new KM2 will be a huge success, I just bought a set of 37's and they are as aggresive as a Krawler but as smooth and quiet as an A/T !! No joke !! Everyone has thier favorites and mine just happen to be BFG's. And like I said before I was only joking around with you , I really dont have a problem with Coopers..... It was just A joke !! Lighten up a little bit , geese...............

So you drive a trophy truck to work with BFG KRTs on gravel roads with washouts at 110mph? OK, I think I'm starting to see the comparison.
