If either of those don't work out, I can put in an order to Mcmaster, too. Or we could call Grainger and have them shipped in and you can pick up and bring over.

Can I ask why screw the dash together? Seems like it would be more likely to rattle apart....locktite?

So we can pull the top off and get to the fuse panel. There was some talk of trimming a hole to make it so we only have to pull 4 screws to get access.

I was thinking along these lines...takes like 72 hours for adhesive to fully cure, but....I attached a handle to our socket cart (80lbs rolling) and with only using a 1x3 piece, you cant remove it by pulling, only by a prying action...

Looks interesting.

Jeep fired up tonight. Lots of little jobs done. Thanks to Jim Burgundy for stopping by to lend a hand.

Velcro works awesome in lots of places. That's what holds my ECM in place.

So I go over to help out at DEAK racing last night & there's this list of things like install gas pedal, hook up throttle cable, make small bracket for storage box, modify skid plate, etc.
The very first thing these guys want me to do is sit on a cold floor and pull the front hubs apart. HEY, I'm not in this gig to get greasy, so I spent the evening avoiding the shit job. LOL

He didn't mention that he had a fresh manicure before he volunteered. I thought the Burgundy nail polish was over the top

Drove the jeep out of the garage so I could back it in to make it easier to work on the back end.

The list is getting shorter. We are still waiting on Jim Burgundy to rebuild the front hubs.

Did you top of the Trans and fill the radiator?

In celebration of our favorite holiday, we will be spending the day in the garage finishing the list tomorrow. Last chance to pack bearings JB.

Yep, and power steering too.

Stop and get a new serpentine belt and oil filter on your way over. I had almost hoisted the skid up, but figured it would pimp us on the oil change.

Bring it over and we'll throw it up on the hoist to do the front bearings. I'm too old to sit on a cold floor when I can have it in the air.

SARRRY, I don't get tomorrow off. Not only that, I thought you guys get tomorrow off so you can go meditate about civil rights....

Tire mount and hi lift mount are done.

Hubs still not done. Imagine that.
