Bummer. But glad you got it back together. Did you night wheel with the racer or Jess's buggy?
Steve posted something about a link tab?

The tab was likely referring to the tang on the axle yoke. No tab failures.

Night wheeling with the racer and Jesse's buggy and a few other racers including Hoser

Any issues with the new skid? Or not enough time running yet?

Also, assuming this is the last race of the season, what are the plans over the winter for the rig?

Skid has some nice skid marks on it, so it works. Its freaking heavy. We had to pull it to drop the Trans pan.

Design in the works for a rear drive shaft skid plate, lol.

Plan to pull the Trans and have Tom do a refresh on it, chassis inspection, some writing touch up, possibly redo the switch panel, first design sucks but functional. Redo the radiator mount and move the track bar to pick up some more clearance

Racing was cheapererer than wheelering for you. You had a clean race, but broke a driveshaft and sliced a tire.

One of the other racers we were out with grenaded their front axle while rec wheeling. I sliced a sidewall.

Casey drove by the rock that broke our steering box 8 times in the race. They weren't making laps in the parking lot of the circle k.

Are you saying that Casey is 8 times a better driver than Jess?
