The Lilly pad was from the inside, but it holds oil and the motor sounds great.

It was a great moment watching the oil pressure gauge.

Racing for money is about as financially sound as relying on the Lotto for retirement.

Many will play, only a few will win.

I'm selling lotto tickets with a $0 jackpot if you're interested.

People only play the lotto because they have a chance to win $, regardless of how slim the odds......I don't buy your analogy, pun intended haha

The fastest way to get to a million dollars racing, is to start
with 2 million and work your way down

It's still at Motor City Machines waiting for me to get it. Here's what we ordered:

Quote:
LS1000

Style: LS1
Dimensions: 5 1/2" deep
Note: Ideal for earlier GM cars with stock cross members or rear steer linkage that want to swap in the newer LS1 engine.

It has four trapdoors, a removable windage tray, and a pan rail girdle. Pan is made from a steel stamping and utilizes a billet aluminum oil filter adapter in the stock GM location. It has an oil capacity of 5 1/2 qts. with filter.

Life would have been a lot cheaper if you had just put a skid under the first one.......... or the second one.........

Third time is the charm. We had spent so much time getting the stock skid to work, I hated to give up on it.

I picked up the pan. Seems to be high quality. Machine work on the oil filter is nice quality.
