it sucks starting in the back but in reality i like it because you know if you are in front they cant beat you on time

I was surprised when they caught me and was worried they were going to win on time, I lost my intercoms half way through the race and then lost my copilot (whos intercom was still working and he was talking to the pits) when he decided to eat his breakfast again. so i had no idea what place is was in and who was on my tail.
Hey, you know I support all you guys & want you all to do well.

On the other hand, it might be fun if you guys acted like Green's Nascar boys and duked it out after each race.

Custom oil pan, no surgery required or feet mangled in the dropping of this Jeep. Just shows Johnnyj doesn't need to be driving to break stuff

At least you hit it high enough you didn't dump "all" your oil.

I have a full depth truck pan too. Maybe you guys should start taking a spare to the races.

As long as Johnny doesn't wreck another one, we're good. I have a shelf spare as well. Maybe we should get them after all...

Where did you source the brake line fittings on your master cylinder?

The metric fittings to switch to standard brake line came from napa. Then we screwed a plastic brake line union(removed one ferrel and nut) into the brake line adapter. The brass fitting thread wasn't a perfect fit, but the beauty of brass, now it is! No leaks, good to go

Tj swap motor mounts didn't hold up to the abuse of TREC racing. Mount failed, allowing motor to drop and crushed the header tube. Cut out flattened section and welded in new tube, good as new, ish.

Motor mounts are complete. Header is back in place. Everything fits!

Figured out coolant drip is from water pump. Looking to replace with a Gen4 water pump to try and get the upper hose away from the air intake tube.

http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/19266802-post4625.html

Also need to replace the PS reservoir hose. We think that's were our power steering leak is coming from.

Then it's time to finish re-assembly, nut and bolt, and do final prep.
