Thanks for the offer, but we are the proud owners of a79 Ford f250, that is currently back for sale in the part out forum...minus the axles:)

Missed this..

If you pull out of the shop absolutely ready to pull off the trailer and race then it's not too bad. We have done it a few times over the years. I would have preferred to get there around noon or just after and have some time to run a few laps and then do a quick nut & bolt before race start.

It probably seemed more cramped too since it's early in the season and the race start was 5:30; and a big part was that we got there and finished a few wiring things and then found/caused the exhaust leak.

I think we'd done it in the past when the race is at 7pm and you have a bit more time to get settled in.

New axle on the stand. Need more cut off wheels to finish it up.

You were safe -- too narrow.

New axle stand rocks. Housing is clean and ready for truss.

Why not truss it from C to C?

I guess you dropped the "trusses are over rated" theme eh?
Oh, and much better on the title.

Lots of interference at full stuff. There will be a front bone (backbone on the front?) to stiffen fore and aft, that will go c-c

When I got to JeepM715's for the May 18th TREC race prep, I was surprised to see that he had taken Hosejockey's idea of keeping a roll of paper towel in the jeep and run with it.

No stopping us now.

ahh....the good old days....when I mentioned to my ex that I saw Nick at Snofari she asked "poopie Nick?"

This is going to be taken the wrong way, but I'm interested to see how the "front bone" turns out.
