Thumbs up New To Michigan

Hey gang. Just moved up here from N.J. a few months back so I'm glad to have been pointed to this site. It seems like there's a lot of good people on the board & a lot of nice rigs too. Unfortunately my Jeep is in my friends fab shop down in P.A. until September so I'll be missing out on all the wheeling this summer. Up until now the rocks at Paragon have been my home away from home, but now I'm also looking forward to seeing what Michigan & the other surrounding areas have to offer.

Below are some pics of my 2000 TJ, the last one being the most recent. When I get it back in September there will be a few new additions not seen below: a custom stretch triangulated long-arm, a Blue Torch fuel cell & skid, new seats with 5-point harnesses (along with mods to the cage), plus some other fun things. It never seems to end, does it? :)

Cheers!

Thanks for the warm welcome fellas, & I'm glad you dig my Jeep. With all the nice weather we've been having it's been pretty tough not having it just for daily driving. My girlfriend's brother, who now lives in California, has a CJ in storage out here which we might borrow for the summer, & from what I understand all it needs is a complete windshield to get in on the road. Would anyone know a good place out here to pick one up pretty cheap?

Just put a post up in the wanted section... You did say you need the frame and glass correct?

Yes it was. One of my favorite trails in the park. The top one I believe was the Q trail right off Coal road. Do you guys get down there much? I'm hoping to find some rigs to wheel with the weekend I'm picking up my Jeep (need a minimum of three to head out). Should be either the second or third weekend of September.

The "A" pillars go through the dash & are welded to a plate on the floor which is sleeved to another & tied into the frame with a pivot. If you're asking about the pair which passes beside the seats, the bottom of those tubes are welded to a horizontal tube which connects the "A" & "B" pillars near the bottom.

I ran it back in 02 I really enjoyed that park. Hopefully someday I will get back that way.
