Default The Ranger

My build thread on my 1988 Ford Ranger STX 4X4. I built the almost two year ago, time has gone by fast, I have been going threw old picture to make this build thread.

The 1st day home. 1st stage.

Engine 2.9l v6
Trans a4ld auto
T- case B/W 1350
Front Axle Dana 28 open, 4.10 gears
Rear Axle Ford 7.5, traclock, 4.10 gears



Stage 2 of the Ranger.

Add 3" body lift
Trim metal
Wheel adapters 4x4.5 to 5x5.5
35x12.5x15 Maxxis Creepy Crawlers w/ 15x8 wagon rims
Warn 9.5ti winch

Stage 3 of the Ranger

Front axle - Dana 35, 5.13 gears, aussie locker, warn lockouts.
Rear axle - Ford 8.8, 5.13 gears, mini spool.
More metal trimming, add exo cage.
1st trip for the Ranger to Bandlands to test it.


Part of Stage 4 of the Ranger.

Yes, I wheel it once with the new tires and it held up good, but it is getting some upgrades now, pics soon.

Sweet ride bro....good to see some more guys pimpin the Rainjuhs......you lookin for a 60 for the front yet? If yur not, you will be soon. If so, lemme know. I gotta line on a couple from 86-91 F350s and one 79 from an F2or350 snowfighter packaged truck. They're drivers side, kinpinned, all the works.....

Come on...you don't actually "wheel" with it. You haven't even done your own log run.

Now get rid of that bed and put some real axles under it.
