I brought the camera and planned to get a few pics, but I left it in the truck and never got a pic.

Despite the breakage in the group, I had a great day.

I had a good day despite laying jeep on its side popping tire off bead and breaking trackbar.

OK, clarification...

Krawlers didn't perform well in the snow so you laughed? (performance question)

You thought Krawlers were funny so you laid in the snow and laughed? (just your sick sense of humor)

That always scares the shit out of me, I'm thinking of running some flanges real soon. I'd hate to loose a $600 locker over some shitty ford lockouts.

Thats the biggest pain in the ass on my jeep. Was also my issue at SnoFARI. Northwest4X4 had a set of flanges for me for a weekend at TT, worked awesome, but seeing as the warn lockouts are lifetime guarentee we swapped them back out. Big mistake, constant issues! see flanges in my future as well.

The only downside to flanges is the amount of road driving I do. Then the front driveline is always spinning.

Thats what Erin said, because I like to drive around town its not really the best choice, but damn the constant issues with that lockout get to ya!

I'm going to upgrade the rest anyway so the lock out would be the weak link. I'm thinking of running flanges most of the time, like r&v ect, and switching to the lock outs for Canada and silver lake where we road drive more. I normally have my hubs always locked anyway because I forget or don't feel like unlocking them. I don't think it matters too much if they are locked for the 80 or so road miles a year I do.

you dont have a rustys track bar and old style track bar mount do you ? if so your track bar could be getting hit by the diff when at full compression..

i think there was more breakage yesterday than the last 3 runs put together. every time i looked around there was another one on the strap, or gettin trailered out of the woods. i had a blast though, two runs and still nothing broke...... i think thats a record?

Sticky krawlers in the snow were horrible. I believe Jesse's hub failures were due to having to have excessive wheel speed to move. Without it, he went absolutely no where.

Then AlumCJ showed up after Jess was broke, and he was struggling to go anywhere unless he was on rocks.

I've read that they don't do well in snow, but I had no idea.
