Default Winch motor question

I bought a new motor for my Warn M12000, it is one from DBelectrical .com and it has two small gauge wires coming out of the side of it. The original did not have these.

Does anyone know what they are for?

I plan on calling them on Monday but would like to know asap so I can get it installed.

And does anyone have any experience with the products from DBelectrical.com?
I also bought new solenoids from them.

I bought a motor from them for my Warn M8000 and ran into the same thing. They said it was for some sort of thermal protection shut-off that mine didn't come with. Coiled up the wires and shoved them under the motor. Works fine.

That was about a year ago. Motor works better than the Bosch (!) piece of crap that died right away, but still no where near as impressive as other 8000lb winches I've watched in use. It does work. That's about all I can say for it. Well, that and it was real inexpensive compared to others.

So are you saying it doesn't have the same power as a factory warn motor?

You son of a bitch, there is no winch tech section and to put in in general tech is not acceptable. But if it needs to be moved there are the higher power that can do as they wish.

FYI "General tech" is for things of which no specific forum exists.

The pub is not for tech questions.
