Default New guy...SE Mi/Monroe

I've been a lurker for a long time, and I ended up picking up an XJ a few days ago. Trying to get it driveable before the snow falls.

I've seen a few rigs roaming around over the past few days.

Anyways, great site...I've learned a ton over the past few months.

If you're from the area, and you see a lifted 2 door flat black'ish XJ...throw me a wave (any number of fingers is acceptable :)) or a honk.

I love your truck, I'm probably picking one up at the end of '10 to play with.

Thanks for the welcome guys, I saw a white 4dr XJ at the Meijer gas station the other day. Looked like around 4 inches of lift and 31's...it reminded me to look around on here to see if there were many others.

Welcome -
Form Bedford here . . . . 15 minutes from Monroe. Hit me some time when you're ready to go wheeling. We head to Bundy Hill a lot lately.

Sounds good, I'm trying to get this thing buttoned up so I can use it. I think the only thing I really need now is the rear pinion yoke and a transfer case linkage. I've made a bunch of progress the last 2 days. Watched some videos of Bundy the other day...looks like a ton of fun...definitely something I'd like to give a whirl.

I used to live down around secor/sterns years back...graduated from Bedford in '98...

Hmmmm...was just a drive by, didn't notice a driver at all.

I got my XJ from a guy in Carleton, it's a flat black 2 door...needs some love, but I'm on it like a fat guy on a twinkie. Should be driveable once I get this coolant bottle replaced. Damn closed system...

Hey Pat - I graduated from Bedford in '96. LOL -

I wonder if I know you then.

FYI - we'll be running to Bundy Hill this weekend.

I haven't quite gotten everything together on the XJ yet, so no wheel trips quite yet.

Might have known my sister, Melissa Johnson.
