Default Pioneer radio help

I am in the process of installing a pioneer deh-p2900mp radio in my 2000 dodge ram. Went and got a wiring harness for it and got all the wires hooked up and everything ran for my subs. The problem i am having is that when turn the radio on, only the subs have music coming from them. They 4 door speakers don't have any noise coming from them. But when i put the stock radio back in the door speakers work. I checked all the wires and i have them wired up correctly. Does anyone have any idea as to what the problem could be?

There was a little black connector on the back of the stock radio that i don't know what it is for. It just clipped on to a little metal prong on the back of the radio. Do i need to run this somewhere on the pioneer radio.

Thanks,
Ben

you got the door speakers connected via a plug or straight twisted wire? Also have you messed with your deck controls to try and fade in and out, left to right for speaker check? Your radio have a switch mode for controlling your amp, as well as controlling just regular speakers?

Black wire should be a ground.

The wires for the door speakers are all soldered together. The wiring harness that i bought had two connectors that plugged into the factory wiring harness. Then i soldered all the wires to the radio harness. The radio harness has a black ground wire in it. I just don't know what this other wire on the back of the stock radio is for.
