Default Do I need a seal?

Where the posi lok goes? When I took it off there was a cork seal and it's kinda warped looking now. Do I have to get a new seal or can I just use RTV sealant? Trying to get ready for bundy hill in the AM>

every time you ask a tech question you need to post a pic of what your talking about.

Now are you talking of the CAD housing cover? If so then yes simple rtv will be suffice in sealing it. Be just like a diff cover.

Not trying to be a dick, but I know you are kinda new to it all but you seemily get some of the tech names mixed up or don't know them, and it gets hard to help when the person can't really explain, know what I mean? and a pic is worth a thousand words.
