Default Jeeps at Parts Galore

Pub probably isn't the absolute correct place, but since there is no junkyard sightings forum.....

There are 15 Jeeps at Parts Galore on 8 mile near Hoover (Next to Coliseum boob bar)

Mostly CJ's, a couple flatties, mostly complete as of today. Old Royal Oak Snow Removal jeeps with half cabs and door. Most of the sheetmetal is junk, but they are all 4x4, with drivetrains intact.

Sorry no pics, didn't have my cell phone with me (I've broken and lost a few in there )

LKQ u-pull it yard in door/wayland has a few XJ's and a couple TJ's, there was a 91,000 mile TJ there that was Cash for clunkers, only thing left on it is the frame and tub, tub is practically rust free.

Parts Galore usually has a lot of XJ's, so many in fact I'm surprised there are any left on the road.

It's not every day you see a line of CJ's and flatties in the junkyard in Michigan.

I snagged a PTO setup off of one of them.

Try and buy that tub and see how it goes.

Lets go and buy up everything that is worth something off those cj's and flatties.

We could become rich like pavementpounder, own 4 homes, a fleet of cars, and have everyone hate us

...........oh can we store it all at your place?

Nope. City finally noticed the YJ-and-a-half.

I just got back from the pick-n-pull down here, second day in a row. This weekend that particular yard has a half-off sale. However, it is two dollars to get into the regular yard, and then you have to pay two dollars extra to get into the "primo" yard, where the halfway decent cars are. They had a few YJs there, 3 or so XJs, and some ZJs and a WJ. The bad part is, they jack up the parts a little. I paid 46 dollars today for a front XJ driveshaft and a tie rod end on half-off day. He charged me for a whole tie rod which pissed me off but oh well.
I miss Parts Galore.

PG has been bumping prices lately too.

Truck hoods are about $75 now, used to be around $50

Usually they don't even know what vehicles they have, and I doubt they'll sell a whole vehicle. You'd probably have to drive there and find out.

What are you looking for?

The prices are fixed according to part, i.e. ALL 4 cylinder engines are the same price.

Half cab or PTO setup is what I would be looking at...

V2win got a PTO....

Half cab would likely price as a convertible top, around $60-$75, but the doors would be separate at about $50 apiece.
