Default 88 BII - Smokey

---New pics at post 30---

Sunday, Nov 22, i bought a 88 bronco2, named her smokey cause shes been sittin for 6 months and after i got her running she smoked quite a bit lol. ive been lookin for another one for a while and found this one
paid $350 for it, all it needed was a fuel pump so i took it home put in the fuel pump and she works perfect
last night i got her running and drove down the road in her hoping to hell i wouldnt meet the cops and she was running like new

she is loud as HELL, the exhaust is rusted off at the Y pipe, she needs a leaf spring, so ill take the 2"lift leafs off of the 86 ranger and put on ol Smokey, along with the bumpers. also im gonna get some belltech 6400 shackles for christmas.

the fuel system on her is so damn hi-tech, it goes from the fuel rail, to a filter, to a pump, to a filter, to a in-tank pump. so i bought some new lines and a simple in-line filter so i will just have lines from the fuel rail to a pump to a filter to the tank. which will happen very soon because today she starter running shitty, wont idle for long, cant step on the gas, and sputtering. i got about 4 gallons of new gas in her, so im guessing the tank had some old gas in it, so i will try to burn that through her and get the new lines and filters on.

anyway thats all, ill post some pics when i find the camera cord.

to do list:
-new fuel lines and filters and pump(got the material, its going on tomorrow)
-new plugs/wires
-new air filter
-2" lift springs(got em on the ranger, gotta remove em an put em on Smokey)

above is the stuff that is absolutely necessary, and yes the springs are necessary one is snapped
also i need an exhaust so i will get the Pacesetter headers when the time comes

just found out that both transmissions are 28.687" in length so i can keep my stock driveshafts :headbang: also found out that i can use the 86 computer cause 86s had larger throttlebody sensors or something and they never had check engine lights and some other crap, so theres a guy on Bii.org and he has one i might get
