Default chevy 4.3 bogging

i have a 98 s-10 blazer, and resently when i put it to the floor from a dead stop it will bog for a second, then it will accelerate normally after that. if i acclerate normally it wont do it, only when i punch it. i have no idea what it could be. my therostat is stuck open, so thats broken, but i wouldnt think that thats the problem

im going to change the thermostat this week, but i dont think that will change anything. any help or suggestions of what it could be would be helpful. Thanks!

Might just be time for a good old fashion tune-up. Plugs, wires, air filter, fuel filter, throttle body cleaning...

Ditto...plus cap, rotor and clean MAF sensor! DO NOT clean MAF sensor with carb cleaner, brake cleaner ect...Use CRC MAF Sensor Cleaner!!!

If it don't change when you change the fuel filter, check the fuel pressure. It can still run if the fuel pressure is a little low. The spec is 60-66psi. If its lower than that and you have a new filter make sure there are no other restrictions in the lines, and if there are none replace the fuel pump
