So I went out to the garage to day.
Poped the ball joints out.

Then cleaned and painted the knuckles.

I had a hell of a time getting the bearing out from inside the spindals

I picked up new bearings and seals for the inner spindal

I also cleaned and painted the rotors

Then repacked the bearings



I even picked up the garage when I was done

I dont have a bearing packer so I was trying to keep my hands clean.

I got my new ball joints in the mail from ROCKAUTO

They were all from different makers(I thought I had recieved the wrong parts at first.

Stopped out to GREASYHANDS shop and borrowed this

Then In go the new parts.


I had to install one more new seal

Then put everything back together (bought some new nuts too)

Stopped out to rich's shop today for a "TEST FIT" to make sure my head did not hit anything. And its good to go.

the cage is solid, those are pic when it was first under way, I checked it out on tuesday and Rich at 4 by fours has done an excellent job, as always, Rich will also be doing my cage come this spring as well.

There will be pics posted when he gets it back come Sat.
