Default Cold weather front...

Anyone run cold fronts on their diesel? Make a difference?

I've been thinking of cutting some classy grille inserts out of aluminum, but I don't want it to be a waste of my time drawing them if its' not necessary. It's not THAT cold here

I guess I could just toss a sheet of cardboard between the intercooler and the radiator too.

yeah we did that on our work truck once and the damn thing caught fire. Make sure you cut to fit and no extra pieces hanging out.

I have never had a problem with the Cummins or Fords not warming up but I plug it in the winter. A buddy used the cardboard and it slowly got wet, broke down and ended up plugging the fins of the radiator.

Just an idea without spending alot of $$$ or time what about like a large rubbermaid type tote lid? You could add some holes/slits if need be.
