Thumbs down Lookin for a trans

the trans in my 03 1500 decided to start taking a shit on me and I am now looking for something new and possibly improved??? I was wondering if anyone knew of a shop in michigan (lansingish area) that could rebuild and upgrade mine or where I could get a new one at a decent price. Any help would be greatly appreciated...
