Default 4.3 vortec 4bbl intake/ carb

im looking for a new/ used 4bbl intaker for a vortec 4.3 and a 390-500 cfm carb and all nessicary bracket's and such

the easest to find would be the `85 Astro Vans. they all had that set up for the most part.

Those just use the 1.94 intakes on them the same as 305 heads of the day. their not bad. plus you get a little machine work like hardened valve seats and stainless valves they last a long time.

i been looking at this also but is it the same as with carbbed v8's ???that the heads have a differant angle on them where the intake sits??

you have to be year specific when looking at vortec headed 4.3's 95 and older are different then 96 and up.

aren't vortec's fuel injected??? why would you want to go back to a carburetor?
