Had a great time and met a lot of new folks. Broke a shifter cable and had to manually shift at the tranny all day. Made it a little tough but still got in some great winter wheelin. A big thanks to Hotwired who kept me in gear all day and was nicknamed "El Manuel Sheefter" . Good times and for a great cause!!!

Eh Senore, does rocks dey hurt! I tol heem to keep da brakes on when I was under der. Eees very hard to spot from under there too. U juan to go right, U juan to go left. Oops, put dee brakes on while I put eet een reverse. Eee can't tell hees right from hees left.
Seriously though, a two hour drive, half an hour of wheeling and an hour screwing with a shift cable, only to put it on the trailer. No Freeking Way!!!! If it meant crawling under the rig to work the tranny then oh well. Besides, the snow kept me from getting dirty!
Todd, if that cable is shot, which I assume it is, we can use your funky shifter with a mechanical linkage.
Good to see a bunch of Team Kamikazee again, especially Geezer. We'll have to hook up with Tom again too.

First time at twisted trails and rig went right from garage to trailer to park. had a great time look forward to coming back again! I loved the idea of putting a good cause together with a great day of wheeling thanks!

Default Toys for Tots

What a great way to spend a Saturday. Hope those kids enjoy the toys we brought for them. Merry Christmas! I enjoyed another fun filled day with "The Geezer" who showed me how fun it is to pee on my brothers tires and also to Spitfire Rick for demonstrating how to scare the crap out of a dog by tipping over your truck on its side. It was also fun watching some of the big toys tackle the obstacles in the main park area. Thanks to the TT group for putting on the event and helping out a family in need.
