Stoney Creek tomorrow 11am will meet at the kayak rental place at Stoney.

Ask at the ent. gate where it is.

Rental is at Mt. Vernon Picnic area.. North West end of the lake.
Probably won't make it myself though. Son has an Ortho appointment.
Maybe I can make it in time for a drive by!

I think theres a $10 deposit and you need a drivers lic.

CANOEING
Kayaks and canoes can be rented at the boat rental area.

Canoe, kayak fees
Canoes $5/hour
Kayak 1 person $4/hour
Kayak 2 person $6/hour

Last time I "kayaked" at Stoney was for a Hi-tec adventure race...and the kayaks were inflatable sevylors - I hope you're not gonna use those things, they = teh suck.

PM'ed you about that Hi-tec race.

Inflatable?! This should be a site!

Thanks so much for posting all the info on where to rent and price! I used to go to Kensigton, and have only rode at Stoney so far. Still learning the area.

Well, I did my drive by and even walked down to the rental area.
11:05 am Parked next to The Lovemud mobile.
Didn't see anyone. Didn't have a pen, so I left a Card as proof!

There was a Kayak out by the east side of the island.

You guy will be roughly a mile from my house...to bad I won't be there this weekend.

I live at 28 and mound. There's a "backdoor" entrance into the park that I know about off of 28, to avoid paying the entrance fee. But, you'd all have to find a place to park, and there'd be a bit of walking involved.

I was down there just before 11 was on the phone actually, must have just missed ya. Got out on the water 11:15ish and in at 2:45. Got to my jeep and found your card, and Bruce found a dollar in his. I see I get a card and he gets a dollar??? lol, actually I think he said he dropped it earlier.

Was a good time. Would go again today, but my legs are still pretty red.

Anytime anyone wants to go let me know always up for it!

Thanks for coming out Bruce, sorry I could not stay and watch all the Trixie's go by with ya!
