this year - just getting the cut-out rust replaced with metal and gray primer. Next winter with be the total body re-do, and fix what I don't like with the current setup (hopefully, everything works well).

This build looks great. That stance is wicked. Any clearance issues with the rear wheel wells with the suspension compressed?

The 245's JUST fit between the fenders and bedsides.

The main problem I hadn't counted on was that the upper control arms would contact the bed when fully compressed - that was the main reason for putting in the 3" "mini-tubs" inside the box (quite a few pictures ago). This will also let me fit 305's out back, should I ever get my wheels widened.

Some shitty cellphone shots from last night. Still chasing down miscellaneous shit - like the oil filter mount, starter,

Need to finish up plumbing the power steering, get a few more fuel fittings to finish the line and setup the brakes. It's a stretch goal, but I'd like to fire it up by next weekend.

..and yes, my rear swaybar is held down by rod bolts & rod ends - it was faster than fabbing custom brackets.

You are a Fab God.... Took me awhile to get through it, but it was worth all the time that I should have used working on the basement while the kids and wife are gone.... At least I think so... Wife may not, but screw her....

LOL

I was worried about how loud the truck would be with dual 2.5" pipes and flowmaster super 44's...
It is now my opinion that all flowmasters sound alike.

As an added bonus, my cobbled saginaw PS pump / 88 Tbird rack and homemade PS lines all seem to work great, while running a combination of type F and Dexron ATF.
Fired it up and then installed the cooling system. Then I found two block plugs I forgot to put in and had water pouring out of the bottom of the engine (thought I botched the intake install).

One thing I found out this weekend is that silicone sex lube is indispensable when making sparkplug wires. Wish I would've known that growing up. The neighbor stopped by when I was right in the middle of the process and up to my elbows in astroglide - I wonder why he refused the beer I offered him.
