Default Ohio Guy is a Fraud!

TO all of our fellow honest jeep guys and 4x4ers, Please beware of this rip off liying pos. My little brother makes a deal to buy this 1992 YJ listed in vehicles forsale deal set waiting onn him to show. Ohio guy agrees to deliver for gas money with cash in hand to be here at 4pm, we call him he says running a bit late, he calls an hour later saying I have a problem I had a better offer and I sold it. Sold it after a deal is done? right what a way to screw someone on there first jeep great way to welcome someone to the 4x4 world. Not to mention he already has a negtive feedback on his name I hope all you guys appreciate a heads up on a dirt ball like this.

My little bro is at work right now and don't even know his first jeep is no longer his.

SLIMEBALL

We've met him as well JeepBrattt seemed like a really honest good ole boy. Thats why my husband suggested to his brother that he buy his jeep they went out yesterday and took a look at it and Joe decided to buy it, it was supposed to be delivered today at 4pm but my bro in law had to work so my husband went down to finalize the deal and well youguys know the rest. I questioned my husband about it last night when he got home because I saw that the post had been bumped by Ohio Guy at 3:15pm this was after my husband and his brother were at his house and had made the deal. I also took screen shots of my husbands pms with what Ohio Guy had said. Pictures are worth a thousand words. I really feel bad for my Brother in law he was extremely estatic and excited and let others deals go because this was supposed to be a done deal. How extremely sad.

Right rob oh so true. You would think fellow jeepers and 4x4er's who are also local would be honest when you wheel with all their friends and have even met them and theres alot of wheeling and dealing going on with purchase's and trades that someone would be honest. Guess thats not the case, theres always one bad egg in the bunch.

i dont trust anyone unless i have been friends with them a long time, even then you can get screwed over.

It sucks that you cannot get excited about something until it is in your name in your hands.

people suck.

Did you leave a deposit? If not, then he had every right to except a better offer.

We had cash in hand, but Ohio Guy didn't meet us so we could look at the jeep his cousin did. His cousin wouldn't take any money from us he didn't feel comfortable dealing with $$$. And Ohio Guy didn't have the title in his name so he didn't want to accept any cash he was supposed to get the title switched over today and deliver the Jeep for a legitimate deal. The guy didn't stick to his word we even made sure of this last night via PM that it was a done deal. And phone calls between my little brother and him today also confirmed the deal was done. Knew something was up when he bumped that thread after we had already been there, I guess an extra 200 bucks is more than you can say for his reputation.

X2, damn this site is full of whiners. The age of paypal has eliminated the distance issue as far as deposits, so don't go there. To criticize this guy for taking more money than you offered is lame.

Whiners? Expecting someone who verbally and in plain white text admitted to this deal being a done deal is being a whiner? Asking someone to live up to their part of a bargin is being a whiner? Read above to see why there was no money exchanged in this transaction. There was money waiting to be exchanged on my brother in laws end, Ohio Guy is the one that refused this. We have paypal we would have been more than happy to put a deposit that way as well money had nothing to do with it and morals did! Plain and simple the guy is dishonest. Maybe you should have taken the time to read this entire thread before you went spewing out your ass eh?

Your a dishonest piece of shit. You made a verbal deal and a deal in PM. You not only wasted their time yesterday coming to look at this jeep when the title wasn't even in YOUR name. He turned other deals away because you agreed to the deal youguys had made. You also wasted my husbands time and gas by having him go down to his brothers has to wait for you to deliver this jeep and finalize the deal. We do alot of dealings with local people where parts and vehicles and various other things are concerned and believe me word of mouth travels fast, we will be telling everyone we know not to trust your lysing ass! So FUCK YOU!

Looks like there was LOTS of red flags to begin with with this jeep. There are tons of cheap yjs out there find another.
