I am committed now lol, trac bar mount has been cut off axle. I thought a single end would be easier to package.......At this point I think a double end would be easier. Single would be great if I had a high steer option.

http://www.polyperformance.com/shop/...ts-p-2761.html

Ordered this the other day thinking I might be able to make it work for me. Reading that link, what do you expect to get when you order it? I got one bracket, not two.

I called trail gear as it appears to have been drop shipped from them and they said the part number ordered is for one bracket. I can't get poly to answer their phone. Unless I am missing something on poly's site I don't see anywhere where I should think anything other then recieving two brackets.

"Steering ram mount brackets A nice set of heavy duty 1/4" plate steel brackets that are easy to install. On your tie rod (1.25") and axle housing. No grinding tabs to fit with these perfectly shaped brackets. Hole size 5/8". For use on 1979-1995 Toyota Pickups and 4Runners, may fit other applications."

Seems like a call to Poly would be in order....once they wake up of course.

Yeah, left a message on their answering machine, and tried numerous times with both customer service and the phone order option. No answer or return calls yet.

John these brackets are sold individually. I apologize that there was not a note on the page describing so. I will have that added right away however i cannot send you product which you have not paid for. So if you would like i can sell you the other bracket you require or i can e-mail you a return authorization and pre paid ship label to give you a full refund on the transaction. Please advise.

Thanks,

My response

Please send the return label and authorization. I understand it doesn't say
individually, but it clearly stated it was a set and described clearly there
were two brackets to the set.

I copied the screen of the item in case they changed it without taking care of me, While the descrition has not changed, they raised the price $2 since yesterday at this time

In the return auth. form it even states "brackets".

Only picture I took while working today, axle mount for the ram. Got that wrapped up I hope, got the tie rod mount done, got the orbital mount done and attached to the column. I think I have my trac bar mounted, just need to check clearance and compression.

Tomorrow stop and get all the fittings and line to plumb the system and hope it works

I also need to come up with a way to stop the tie rod from spinning. Thinking maybe drilling out one knuckle to 3/4 and doing a dual hiem on that side and attaching the two to the dom.

A heavy durometer rubber bushing between the tie rod and steering arm does the trick. Just need it at both ends. JCR used to sell them, don't know if they still do. In reality, you can also stack some oversize washers in there or a tube spacer as long as there is a little play allowed. Just make sure you don't make it too thick so the taper won't cinch up. Been there, done that.
