Got the rear axle out from under the frame. The 63 chevy springs are to long to put the axle where I want it. Got some explorer Leafs to replace them. Still not feeling motivated.

I also went and got a different hood for it...

Hoping to get out there later today and get some work done. Hoping to get the rear axle bolted in place and the 4d's put back on the rear.

Cut it off, that much over hang would be a killer on the trail and make for a horrible departure angle.

Well got the two forward most body mounts left to adapt then thats all done. Then I can start on making a radiator fit and doing the wiring and fixing some floorboards.

but I picked up a second (or 3rd,4th,5th however you want to look at it) project for the winter/spring...

Well the front axle is out and most the brackets associated removed. Now to figure out where to put it. I was hoping for a wheelbase of 104" but at the same time leaving the grille alone. I think the only way that can happen is with approx 97" of wheelbase .
