The spicer 35 spline stubs are for Chevy/dodge D70 front axles. The stubs are to long for fords so you have to shorten them to fit in the hubs. And by shortening them it reduces the length of the splines themselves.

I broke a Warn Premium Lockout.

But after looking it over, I think I figured out what contributed to the failure.

Once the tire stopped turning I backed down off the hill, the lockouts are full turn lockouts, and the RF was turned back a little off the lock position. When it let go I was dragging the RF tire hard against the sidewalls of the hill forward and backward. I think while doing this it was also turning that dial. The 35 spline part of the lockout, where the teeth are on it opposite of the 35 splines is worn down on the outer half of that part of the gear. So it appears possibly that the hub was only half engaged on the teeth of the gears.

That or its just junk shit. I wasn't working the truck to hard, the soil was loose and I wasn't in the rock.

Shots from Bundy Hill. What is cool about that terrain is it isn't very loose so you can get decent traction.

My hood was up because the "s" wire for the starter wore through and was shorting out against my trans line/radiator lines.

So I ordered my flanges on the morning of the 11th. Told them I needed them for the weekend of the 27th. No big deal, well still have yet to receive them and have been trying to get in contact with the company over the last 24 hours. Finally talked to somebody today and they gave me my tracking number.

UPS tracking shows the flanges billed June 11th 11am, and then picked up at 5:56pm on the 11th and that's it. No more scans no more updates, nothing. I called UPS and they told me they are somewhere between Texas and michigan and apparently lost. And ups won't do anything more for me as I am not the shipper only the receiver. So i have called the company and they have to look into it with ups themselves even though they did their part and shipped the item.

I have filed my own claim just now on the package. I called UPS and talked to a person who was less then helpful. Then went online and figured it out for myself.

I am still waiting on RockandRolloffroad to call me back though. Sucks I now only have two business days left before I needed them . Guess I shouldn't of been so patient waiting on the delivery. This is why I always insist on tracking numbers right away, but didn't this time .
