I can't believe this

This guy robbed the store my husband works at a few weeks ago and the police couldn't find him, but he kills someone and they go find him immediately. They should have had him off the streets weeks ago!!

http://www.freep.com/article/20091023/NEWS03/91023011

And now I am worried about my husband, even though he only works one day a week

x2 Pontiac is a dump. But I would worry less now than I did before. The criminal in question is in custody so that threat is gone. I would be feeling relief rather than worry.

Holiday season is right around the corner. That punk is 19. I guarantee there is more where he came from. I am confident we have not seen shit go down yet. It is gonna hit those under meek living conditions extremely hard to the point of desperation. Everyone watch yourselves more so this holiday season.

Happy Holidays!

You can't believe that the police dedicated more manpower to a murder as opposed to a robbery?

The impression I got is that Kerryann thinks if they would've devoted some time on finding this dirtbag when Mike was robbed, maybe the dead guy wouldn't have been stabbed to death.

Maybe they didn't know who it was

It said security cameras caught him leaving after the murder, but doesn't talk about the robbery.

Unfortunately, the PPD was probably responding to another murder/man with a gun/domestic violence/dead body case instead of searching for a robber. Or they were napping, either way, the department has downsized and crime is up.

According to my expertise gained solely from watching Law & Order, this robber should not have escalated to a murderer so quickly.

Mike downloaded the files from the security camera and the police knew exactly who he was. They knew the guy by name after viewing the tapes and it sounds like he was a frequent offender. They had really good camera footage of the guy looking in the window to the shop, breaking the glass in the door, and then going to the register and stealing the 40 dollars or whatever was in there.

In the article it made it sound like they knew pretty well where to find him and went and got him immediately after the murder. I am thinking two things from this, the first is that the guy didn't have to die if this guy was already in jail, and second that it scares me that Mike works in an area where this is a problem. He also goes to Wayne State so I worry about him there too.

PP.. one day a week is all he can be unchained for.. He's still a dirty birdy..
