4.3vortec non remote filter ?

Im putting a 4.3 vottec from a s15jimmy in my spitfire & am wondering whats involved in changing the remote set up to a spin on the block filter ? I havent even really looked at the remote adapter /block yet but want to gather up what I need to do it

If memory serves, you unbolt the remote setup and bolt on the 2wd oil filter stud and bypass. That's how it works with small blocks but the filter is smaller with the 4.3 but it should be the same deal just different parts.

Yep just a cheap dealer fitting.

Only diff between the 2/4wd is the filter legnth. so use what ever you can fit.

the filters were PF 52 for the long and PF 47 for the short.
