Default Shell citi charge card rant

got a letter from citi bank (Soiux Falls SD) , they are closing my shell account ,apparentlly they feel that my ratio of revovling balances to credit limits is to high , ( my ratio is not at all ) and they are not even taking into account that according to Equifax we have a " very good " credit score. or the fact that we have never been late or even missed a payment on ANY of our accounts.

i've called and can not get to talk to anyone higher than some stupid senior member service manager that does not know what the hell he is taking about. He kept on telling me that it is the problem of Equifax and that i had to call them . even after i told him that in the letter, it states, that Equifax played no part in the decision making.

So if this is the kind of people that these companies have working from them, We are all in trouble.

AMEX did the same thing 2 years ago. Its nothing new. The decision was made way higher than the guy you talked to, anyway.

You can file a complaint with the BBB wherever they are based. They'll love that.

Shoot, citi bank has decided to close my sears account when my card expires next year.

Reason? Lack of use.
I had a balance on it for years, and payed on it always on time. Last year I paid it off 100% and haven't used it since.
So now they are closing the account.
