Default power steering pump

im building a truck and would like to have hydraulic steering on it i have a cylinder and the orbital valve. the ? i have is what to use for a pump i was told i could use a gm power steering pump and would like some info on this and maybe how to convert the pump thank

nothing to convert, the stock pump should supply enough flow if you have the correct steering valve (orbital, orbit roll, call it what you want)
most pwr steering pumps have a built in relief valve, so the max pressure is already set.
